<strong>Fabio Merzari<\/strong>, who transformed their doctoral research into an entrepreneurial project capable of revolutionizing the treatment of sewage sludge and organic university experiments on the <strong>hydrothermal process<\/strong> led to the creation of the <strong>first pilot plant<\/strong> in Mezzocorona, paving the way for a technology that is now Sustainability<\/h4>\n          <div class=\" txt_medium_l fw-normal\">\n            \n             <p><strong>HTC \u2013 Hydrothermal Conversion<\/strong> technology allows for the transformation of sewage sludge and organic waste into new resources, minimizing volumes and energy consumption.<\/p>\n<p>Through a thermal process in an aqueous environment, in less than an hour, waste becomes:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 a <strong>liquid rich in organic substances<\/strong>, usable for biogas production;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 a <strong>sterile and hydrophobic solid<\/strong>, hydrochar, usable as a soil conditioner or solid fuel.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to HTC, it is possible to recover precious nutrients (nitrogen, phosphorus, magnesium), reduce thermal consumption by over six times compared to continued to grow thanks to important collaborations and the support of the Greenthesis Group, which joined the company in 2022 and is now the majority shareholder.<br><br>Together, the project for
