S.p.A.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The initiative aims to verify the feasibility of co-compost production by mixing compost with Hydrochar resulting from the thermal treatment of sludge using HTC (Hydrothermal Conversion) technology.\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Project<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The project, which involves \u2013 in addition to S.EC.AM. \u2013 also Gruppo CAP and Como Acqua, represents an important step towards the valorisation of sewage sludge, with concrete objectives:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Reduction of the quantity of sludge to be disposed of<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Increase in biogas production thanks to the recirculation of liquors into anaerobic digestion<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Development of a Hydrochar co-composting supply chain<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Evaluation of economic and environmental benefits in different plant scenarios<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The experimentation will be scientifically supported by the Polytechnic University of Milan and the University of Tuscia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Implementation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The project brought together operators with different skills and territorial contexts, pooling know-how and innovation with the aim of generating value for the sector and the environment.
